During the month of February we’ve felt market activity pick up. Sellers are actively reaching out in preparation to list in later spring or early summer, and buyers are both consolidating and understanding their resources as it relates to the current market.
Our real estate restrictions do not stem from a lack of resources for those seeking to invest, instead they stem from a lack of available listings. Partly, this lack of inventory drives exclusivity and interest in our mountain community.
While it drives interest, it creates a challenge in finding projects or properties of interest to investors and buyers alike. Many buyers consider Tahoe and Truckee real estate as a reliable investment. Considering these resources and market views, our local Tahoe and Truckee real estate markets aren’t expected to cool off soon.
